Actor Shrestha cremated at Pashupati with state honours

The last rituals of cine actor Shree Krishna Shrestha were performed by offering national honor at Pashupati Aryaghat on Monday evening. Rituals was performed at the Pashupati Aryaghat on August 11 with state honours. Thousands of his fans thronged the Aryaghat premises to bid their last goodbye to the beloved actor.Shrestha passed away during treatment in New Delhi on Sunday.Thousands of well wishers including leaders of political parties, artists, representatives from various organizations, and relatives paid tribute to the late one at Aryaghat.As per the funeral programme schedule, Shrestha's body was taken to Nepal Academy Hall for final tributes but the body could not be kept there because of huge number of his fans and well wishers.Deputy Prime Minister Prakash Man Singh and Minister of Information and Communication Dr Minendra Rijal honoured him by draping the national flag of the country.
